Why is no one out there stating what is so obvious. Trump and his people for various reasons and benefits to themselves are working on behalf of Putin to dismantle the US. I am really shocked that the democrats had no plan B if Kamala lost and that everyone is afraid to say that trump is working on behalf of Russian interests.
Why do people act as though “the Democrats” are some alien group of unknown beings from another planet? We are doing our best while confronting some of the worst monsters in human history. For the last 30 years, Republicans have been trying to destroy democracy and cut down the American government to a corporate-like minimalist state run by a CEO/king.
Democrats have been facing the Republican onslaught all alone with very little support from lazy armchair voyeuristic critics. We could do with a lot more support instead of all this backstabbing. America is a “pluralist system” not “somebody else do it for me system”. You watch us and wait till we make a mistake and then you leap up to criticize us. Does that make sense to you? Meanwhile we need your help and your input. Maybe if you had helped more in the past, instead of just always criticizing,we wouldn't be in this catastrophic situation.
I wonder if maybe we could design a system where we could assign people the role of representatives to go to our local capitol and Washington to fight for issues we cared about. Then I could sit in my armchair and complain more while I also March, protest, give money, and operate as a ally in the issues we care about. That might be a cool system.
Perhaps they're afraid of falling out of a window? I don't know but there are international partnerships and collaborations, journalistic investigations, public awareness campaigns that could be happening. If just once the democratic party asked for money for those things I'd hand over my cc in a flash.
This should have all been done before the inauguration. If Merrick was refusing to do it, the American military had several criminal investigation units that could have been engaged. Biden and Harris chose not to use them.
My question is, why are the republican lawmakers sitting idly by and allowing a coup and constitutional crisis in the making? Do they fear DTJ so much that they will allow us to slide into full blown dictatorship? How many hundreds of thousands have to lose their jobs before they impeach this person?
On February 28, 2025, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), along with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), filed a lawsuit challenging the executive order's application to the Federal Election Commission (FEC). The plaintiffs argue that Section 7 of the order, which mandates that the President and Attorney General's legal opinions are binding on all executive branch employees, infringes upon the FEC's statutory independence as outlined in the Federal Election Campaign Act. They contend that this provision unlawfully permits the President to dictate the FEC's legal positions, thereby compromising its autonomy.
Legal Action by Perkins Coie:
The law firm Perkins Coie initiated a legal challenge against the executive order after it faced punitive measures purportedly linked to its prior representation of Democratic interests. The firm alleged that the order unjustly barred its attorneys from engaging with federal agencies, accessing federal buildings, and maintaining security clearances, thereby violating their constitutional rights, including freedom of speech, association, and due process. On March 12, 2025, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell issued a temporary restraining order blocking these provisions of the executive order, emphasizing that the legal profession is "watching in horror" at the treatment of Perkins Coie.
Implications:
These legal challenges underscore significant concerns regarding the separation of powers and the preservation of independent regulatory bodies. The outcomes of these cases may have profound implications for the balance between executive authority and the autonomy of federal agencies and organizations.

I think the same mechanism that got him elected, was also used to get them elected. If they brought it out, they would get themselves impeached too.
Another way of looking at it is they were also complicit participants of his crimes.
I am watching the following.
